Yarnima Power Station – Expansion Joints & Strainers for Water Cooling
Yarmina power station, located in Newman, is a thermal gas power station that supports BHP’s mining operations in the Pilbara. The station has two gas turbines and delivers 190MW of power.
Design engineer Worley Parsons and contractor Forge approached us to supply large bore expansion joints and strainers for use in the water cooling system. Both were designed and manufactured to suit the unique conditions of the power station and delivered to site ready for installation.
