West Angelas Power Station – Valve Package for Gas Turbines

West Angelas power station supports Rio Tinto’s mining operations 150km of Newman. The station can support an iron ore production capacity of 353 million tonnes per year.

Design engineer Forge approached us to provide the manual and actuated valves for the power station. This included the gas pressure control valve skids for the gas turbines to monitor the gas pressure in the system. Our team assembled, tested, and tagged the valves in our Perth valve workshop and delivered them to site ready for installation.
