When planning a new 4km tailings pipeline, the Talison Lithium project team knew they needed flexibility.

It’s critical because rigid pipework must withstand thermal expansion, slurry pump vibration and changes in direction, bends or elevation.

They needed a set and forget option that could withstand higher pressures (up to 5000kPa), shock, vibration, and bending and flexing around dam contours and elevation.

That’s why they specified Slurryflex mining hose.

Our Brisbane factory built more than 250 metres of DN400 and DN250 hose and delivered it ready for installation.
