The Slurryflex SD-Series Reducer Mining Hose is a short-length hose used to connect two differently sized sections of pipework. It comes in two types. A concentric reducer is a conical fitting that joins pipes on the same axis, while an eccentric reducer has one side parallel to the adjoining pipe.
It has an abrasion-resistant inner layer; middle layer with wire-helix reinforcement and pressure-containing polyester fabric; and a protective outer layer. Reducer mining hoses are mainly used in slurry pump suction and discharge applications.
Made from flexible rubber, this reducer allows for rotation and movement on site, while minimising misalignment and vibration.
Slurryflex hoses are the most flexible, longest lasting slurry hoses on the market, as shown by independent testing. Slurryflex Grade A rubber gives you long lasting resistance to abrasion, cutting, and tearing.
All of our mining hoses are custom made in Australia according to your specifications. We have the largest mining hose factory in Australia and use a hot vulcanisation process to produce a robust, premium hose. Talk to us about your requirements and we’ll help you choose the right hose for the job.
