Sanbrado Gold Mine – Valve and SPI Package for CIL Treatment Facility
In 2018, Lycopodium engaged us to supply valves and Special Piping Items (SPI) for the processing plant at Sanbrado gold mine. The mine is located 90km southeast of Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso.
Our valve specialists assembled, tested, and tagged more than 200 valves for the carbon-in-leach treatment plant. This included large bore, pneumatically actuated knife gate valves that we custom built in our Perth workshop.
Our team sourced and prepared a tailored 1200-item SPI package for the project. We provided a complete package of hoses, clamps, couplings, nozzles, sprinklers, orifice plates, and fittings.
After we successfully delivered the shipment to site, Lycopodium commissioned the facility in March 2020, three months ahead of schedule.
