Roy Hill Fuel Hub – Victaulic Package for New Fuel Storage Facility
The $41.5-million Roy Hill Diesel Fuel Infrastructure project involved the construction of two bulk fuel facilities—one at Port Hedland and the second at Roy Hill mine. The project included pumping systems, storage, and transfer facilities with a storage capacity of 7.6 million litres.
We worked with design engineer Decmil to supply a complete Victaulic piping system. This included steel piping, couplings, and fittings cut, grooved, and painted at our Perth workshop.
Decmil successfully commissioned the project in November 2015. More than 60 million litres of fuel is pumped through the two facilities each year.
