The Powergenex SS2 Smart Valve Positioner converts an analog or electrical input to a digital signal for quick and accurate calibration. It has a programmable characteristic curve with 17 points.
This compact positioner can be used on single or double acting actuators without further adjustments required. It also automatically detects reverse acting or direct acting despite wrong air connections.
Available as either linear or rotary type, the SS2 smart positioner comes with a NAMUR standard mount and various mounting brackets for rotary valves.
This smart positioner provides diagnostics for performance failures and improves control of high-friction valves. It can be used either with an analog, HART, Profibus PA, or Foundation Fieldbus communication protocols.
