The Powergenex AVB Series Air Volume Booster is used in conjunction with a valve positioner to provide a pneumatic actuator with a high air flow output that corresponds to the signal pressure. It ensures a tight shut-off to prevent unnecessary air consumption.
The AVB-1000 model is a standard air volume booster with ¼” or ⅜” ports. The AVB-2000 and AVB-3000 are both heavy-duty models with bigger ports and greater flow capacity suited for rapidly moving large actuators.
The Powergenex Air Volume Booster series is highly responsive and prevents overshooting or overdamping of an actuator. It also has exhaust filters that prevent the contamination of foreign substances.
