Pilgangoora Lithium Mine – Valve and SPI Package for New Processing Plant
Design engineer DRA Global and contractor RCR Tomlinson engaged us to provide the valve package for a new processing plant a Pilgangoora. Pilbara Minerals operates the mine, which has one of the largest deposits of lithium in the world.
The technicians in our valve workshop in Perth assembled, tested, and tagged more than 1800 valves for the project. This included six large bore (DN500), actuated knife gate valves.
We also provided a comprehensive Special Piping Items (SPI) package for the site. This included Straub couplings, expansion joints, fire equipment, industrial and mining hose assemblies, safety showers, strainers, pipe spools, orifice plates, Victaulic fittings, and static mixers.
We were on hand to take any guesswork out during installation, and we’ve continued to work with Pilbara Minerals on projects at Pilgangoora.
