Nullagine Gold Mine – Slurry Knife Gate Valves for New Tailings Dam
In 2016, we worked with Millennium Minerals to supply a knife gate valve package for the new tailings dam at their Nullagine gold mine. The new dam was 1km away from the plant, so they needed valves that allowed for high flow rates with low pressure drop.
We worked with the project team to recommend and supply DN100 and DN250 CMO GL valves. These valves provide full continuous flow when open with no cavities or turbulence in high pressure slurry pipeline transport.
We assembled, tested, and tagged the valves at our Perth workshop. Plus, we were on hand to help with troubleshooting, saving time and guesswork during the installation process.
