The Mitech SSGCV Globe Control Valve is a GCV model built with additional severe service fittings to meet the demands of the most arduous applications.
It has a clamp-in-place design which means all trim components are attachable. This allows the valve to be configured quickly based on the process requirements. The seat and plug are also designed to float freely during assembly. This causes the stem, plug, and seat to easily align, which results in tight shutoff and long stem seal life.
They can be engineered to suit specific applications through local computational fluid dynamics design. The modular design doesn’t require any special tools and also reduces need for spares. They can be built as two-port globe, three-way globe, and sweep angle valves.
Mitech globe control valves are suitable for high pressure and extreme temperature conditions. They’re available with special energy dissipating trims.
