Maric’s Flow Control Valves protect pumps, filters, pump glands, and water distribution systems that are flow-rate sensitive from fluctuations in pressure. They maintain a constant pre-set flow rate regardless of pressure differential within a typical 1.4–10 bar range upstream or downstream of the valve.

The screwed type valves are used in space-constrained applications as the valve’s diameter is only marginally larger than the pipe’s. They may require a barrel union for fitting and removal in especially small spaces.

The wafer type valves have an orifice plate and are usually chosen for larger installations. Easy to refit, they’re fitted with O-rings for a tight seal. This type is suited for smooth-faced flanges while cast or rough flanges may require flange gaskets.

Both types come with control rubbers that responds automatically to fluctuations in pressure. They’re capable of automatic and self-cleaning operation. They’re also more compact than conventional diaphragm valves.

Maric Flow Control Valves are used for mechanical seals of slurry pumps, gland water flow control, and flow control of liquids in mineral processing. They have a service life of up to 20 years.
