Mako Gold Mine – 2300-Item Valve SPI Package Delivered for New Plant
In 2017, Lycopodium engaged us to provide the manual valve and the Special Piping Item (SPI) packages for Resolute Mining’s new Mako gold processing plant, 650km from the capital Dakar in southeast Senegal.
The SPI package included industrial hose assemblies, mining hose, spray nozzles, expansion joints and Victaulic couplings. A range of manual valves were also included to be used throughout the plant. In total we assembled, tagged, and tested 2300 items in our Perth workshop, then delivered to site for installation by the on-site team.
