Hounde Gold Mine – SPI Package for New Processing Plant

Lycopodium engaged us to deliver a custom designed special piping items package for the new Hounde gold mine in 2017. The mine is located 250km south-west of the capital Ouagadougou.

We sourced and supplied an extensive SPI package for the processing facility and the mine services area. This included mining hose, hose assemblies, spray nozzles, Straub couplings, flow control valves, air release valves, and orifice plates. Our Perth workshop team assembled, tested, tagged, and delivered a total of 3054 items to site ready for installation.

Lycopodium completed the project ahead of schedule and below budget with the first gold poured in October 2017.
