Fekola Gold Mine – SPI Package for 7.5Mt Expansion Project

Following the commissioning of B2Gold’s Fekola gold mine in 2017, Lycopodium engaged us again to work on the mine’s mill expansion project. The project increased the mine’s output from 4Mt/yr to 7.5Mt/yr.

We provided a custom Special Piping Items (SPI) package. This included mining hoses and industrial hoses, Victaulic couplings, orifice plates, and spools.

Our Perth team sourced, tested and tagged the package ready for installation at the mine located in Mali.

B2Gold successfully commissioned the mill expansion in September 2020, almost a month earlier than planned.
