Didipio Gold Mine – Floating Hose Solution for Dewatering Program

The Didipio gold mine in the Philippines is an underground mine containing gold and copper. A strong focus on best practice environmental guidelines ensures the mine recycles an average of 87% of their process water.

In 2012, OceanaGold approached us to provide a solution for dewatering at the site. Our Brisbane workshop manufactured a Slurryflex DN450 floating hose line that connects to a pontoon-mounted pump in the settling pond. This Australian-made dredge hose has increased the amount of recycled water used on site, creating a substantial environmental benefit.
