The CMO GH Slurry Knife Gate Valve has a monobloc reinforced cast iron body and is specifically designed for working pressures of up to 21 bar. It can be used in end-of-line service in pressurised systems. A full port design ensures unrestricted flow with low pressure drop. Turbulence in the fluid flow is also not an issue as the body doesn’t produce any cavities.

The seat consists of two resilient sleeves that seal against each other when the valve is open, creating bubble-tight shut-off. Only the seat comes into contact with abrasive media. There’s no seat cavity where media can accumulate and cause the gate to jam.

A watertight seat is integrally moulded around a metal ring to prevent stretching or compression. The sleeves are available in different materials such as natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and polyurethane.

This CMO GH Slurry Knife Gate Valve is suitable for high-pressure mining slurry applications with solids concentration up to 50%, such as concentrate and tailings slurry pipelines.
